Meowlloween Update: The Critters Are Ocean Bound 🎃🐙✨
about 2 months ago – Thu, Jun 25, 2026 at 01:48:00 PM

My Darkest Darlings,

Against every obstacle the world could conjure, we have triumphed.

Spiteful delays, punishing tariffs, technical hurdles that tested our every resource, and one final stubborn delay in loading, none of it could stop us. Last night our precious cargo was officially loaded onto the ship.

The boat sets sail on the 30th. It arrives in the US on July 22nd, reaches Chicago on August 2nd, and then fulfillment begins quickly after that.

After this long and difficult journey together, the moment we have waited for is finally here. We are weary, we are relieved, and we are positively glowing with excitement to deliver these spooky, tentacled darlings into your waiting arms.

Thank you for standing with us through every shadow. Thank you for believing in the strange and wonderful Halloween magic we weave.

It is happening.

With all my love and midnight gratitude,

Lady Nightshade
Mistress of Meowlloween 🐱🎃❤️

Address Changes, DMs catchup
3 months ago – Sat, May 16, 2026 at 03:14:30 PM

Hi Everyone,

As we all wait for the critters to arrive, wanted everyone to double check their addresses and ensure they are good to go. If you need any changes that you can't handle, no worries, just DM me and I will get you fixed up.

Don't worry if it takes a little, I'm trying to get thru DMs quickly and hope to be caught up today. Even if there's delays on address changes, we will make sure to get them fixed up before things start shipping out to you!

This is IT! Meowlloween is Coming to Town
3 months ago – Mon, May 11, 2026 at 07:11:14 PM

Hi Everyone,

We just received this letter in an ornate black envelope. We have a feeling it's meant for you, so we will go ahead and read it for you.

Ehem

"My Dearest Darklings,

I scarcely know how to weave these words.

This past year has tested us all in ways we never imagined. It has been the hardest year we have ever endured. Tariffs that twisted like dark curses, manufacturing delays that stretched on endlessly, cash flow that haunted us at every turn, and a world filled with uncertainty left us wondering more than once if we could pierce through the veil.

Yet through every shadow, you remained our guiding moonlight. Your patience, your gentle whispers of encouragement in our nightmares, your eager anticipation, and your unwavering belief in these spooky little kitties gave us strength when we needed it most. From the deepest corners of our shadowy hearts, we thank you.

Now I bring you tidings we have all longed to hear:

Meowlloween is coming home.

The products are ready. And even now, they wait in queue to board the boat that will carry them across the seas.

We are awaiting departure dates and will update you soon.

Thank you for embracing the strange and wonderful Halloween-tentacled magic my friends have created.

With all my love and midnight gratitude,
Lady Nightshade
Mistress of Meowlloween"

Well, we really couldn't say that any better.

It Is Happening!

That's right, Meowlloween is coming to town, so make sure you check your addresses, if there is an issue with updating it, please feel free to DM us and we will be sure to get it fixed before the critters arrive so that the moment the land, they go immediately out to you.

We'll be updating everyone shortly as we get news on scheduling and final departures, and going thru our DMs to ensure everyone is taken care of.

Again, thank you all for your patience and trust in us. A million high fives to all of you! we appreciate every single one of you!

With all our love and gratitude,
The Merritts

Meowlloween Update: Holding Pattern
4 months ago – Tue, Apr 14, 2026 at 08:27:14 AM

Hi Everyone,

So I was hoping to have better news at this point, but I'll give yall a rundown. It's not BAD news per say, just not good news.

Long story short, we have had more delays. Our financing plans have had to adapt due to a major unpaid invoice from one of our retailers.

So, to ensure things are not being held up any further by outside forces, we are pushing forward with a major bridge loan. That's right, we are going into dept to make sure these get to you.

However that unfortunately take a bit of time. I've been told a somewhere between a 2-6 weeks.

Obviously this is not the ideal situation, but with the tariff war, the actual war, and whatever else the world throws at us, we are NOT giving up. We promised these products to you, and gosh darn it, we will get these to you.

Hang time just a bit longer. We are almost there.

Meowlloween Update: Tariff Update:
6 months ago – Mon, Feb 23, 2026 at 09:53:24 AM

Hi Everyone,

It's a simple update today but I wanted to address the tariff situation so yall know what's going on.

On February 20th the Supreme Court ruled the tariffs Trump enacted were null and void. This means the 20% tariff (it was 40% in 2025, dropped to 20% on Jan 1st) we were dealing with is gone. HOWEVER, Trump enacted a 15% tariff kicking in tomorrow for 150 days.

This means that we are able to look at our costs again and hopefully it should drop down further than it was, so that's good new for us. It ultimately doesn't do much for yall, as we are not waiting around for another 150 days until the extra global tariff ends. Most likely they will swap things around or do something else to make it last longer or add more, so we are just moving forward assuming we are sitting on 15% tariff going forward.

Still waiting for our manufacturer to come back from holiday (All of Feb. is holiday for them) until they can finish up the production and get it ready for shipment.

But wanted to let yall know since it was big news this weekend.

So hang tight, we are almost there folks.

Sincerely,

John
